1. WHAT ARE COOKIES
Cookies are small text files that a website places on your device. They are widely used to make websites work, to remember your preferences, and to understand how a site is used.
We also use similar technologies, including local storage, session storage, and IndexedDB, which store information in your browser in the same way a cookie does. In this Policy, "cookies" refers to all of these technologies.
2. TYPES OF COOKIES WE USE

Offline storage. In the mobile app experience, photos and notes captured in the field are stored in your browser until they upload. This keeps the app usable when connectivity is poor.
Analytics cookies. We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use our website in aggregate. These cookies are only set if you accept analytics on our cookie banner. Until then, Google Analytics runs without storing or reading any cookie or identifier on your device.
Advertising cookies. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, and we do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. If that changes, we will update this Policy and provide an opt-out.

Advertising storage is disabled at all times. We do not enable Google Signals, ad personalization, or audience export, and page addresses are stripped of record identifiers, tokens, and query strings before analytics data is sent.
4. YOUR CHOICES
Cookie banner. On your first visit you can accept or reject analytics cookies. Rejecting is as easy as accepting, and ignoring or closing the banner does not give consent.
Changing your mind. Use the "Cookie preferences" link in the website footer at any time to change or withdraw your choice. Withdrawal takes effect immediately.
Browser privacy signals. We honor Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track. If your browser sends either signal, analytics cookies are treated as rejected automatically.
Browser settings. Most browsers let you block or delete cookies. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will prevent you from signing in, and clearing storage on a mobile device may discard photos that have not yet uploaded.
