1. WHAT ARE COOKIES AND SIMILAR TECHNOLOGIES

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. Similar technologies we may use include local storage and session storage (authenticated session and interface preferences), IndexedDB (queue of job site photographs on a mobile device when connectivity is poor), and web beacons or pixels used only in our own email communications, not for advertising.

2. HOW WE USE THESE TECHNOLOGIES

Strictly Necessary. Essential for the Website and Services to function: authentication and session management, security and abuse prevention, tenant routing for white-label sign-in pages, load balancing, and accessibility. You cannot opt out of these.

Functional and Preference. Remember choices such as interface density, sidebar state, desktop or mobile view, and guided script mode. These are stored locally in your browser.

Offline and Performance Storage. Within the Services, the browser stores data locally to support offline tolerance in the field, including a queue of photographs and notes captured without connectivity. This data remains on your device until uploaded or you clear browser storage.

Analytics and Performance. Help us understand aggregate Website usage. We may use third-party analytics providers for this purpose.

Marketing and Targeting. We do not use cookies for cross-context behavioral advertising, and we do not "sell" or "share" personal information as those terms are defined under the CCPA. If we introduce such technologies, we will update this Policy and provide an opt-out mechanism.

3. WHAT WE USE

• Strictly necessary cookie / local storage: authentication token, session management, security (session or until sign-out; refresh tokens up to 30 days).

• Strictly necessary cookie: tenant identification for branded sign-in pages (session).

• Functional local storage: interface preferences, view mode, script mode toggle (persistent until cleared).

• Offline IndexedDB: pending photo and note upload queue (until upload completes or storage cleared).

• Analytics cookie: aggregate usage measurement on the Website (up to 24 months).

• Email pixel: whether our email was opened (not stored on device).

4. YOUR CHOICES

Most browsers let you control cookies through settings. Disabling strictly necessary storage will prevent you from signing in. Clearing browser storage on a mobile device may discard photographs that have not yet uploaded. We honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals where applicable. Because we do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, a "Do Not Sell or Share" link is not required at this time.
